You really have 7 kids?
Did they all come from you; I mean vaginally?
Those are the question everyone asks, all the time. And the answer is, yes, I have 7 kids. No, they did not ALL come from me, if you want to get technical. But I am raising them all with my husband, Stephen.
I was a divorced, single mom of 3 children, then I met Stephen who has sole custody of his 4 children. You put us together and we have 7 kids. It’s just like the Brady Bunch +1 and in our family there are 4 girls and 3 boys.
I’m a wife.
I’m a mother.
I’m a step-mom.
I’m just like you, except perhaps everything is a bit more amplified.
I work full-time, I juggle a house, meals, groceries, sporting events for my kids and here’s the kicker….my husband travels….A LOT. So quite often you’ll hear me make reference to being 1 versus 7. That’s when you know things are getting interesting as I do it all without any backup.
I don’t have all the answers.
I try to roll with the punches.
But everyday I stub my toes….being a MOM of 7.
